Welcome to our new classroom website! I hope to improve parent-teacher communication by presenting classroom
news, information, permission slips, calendars and class photos on this web site. This is very new to
me! Please be patient. I welcome feedback I can use to make this website a valuable communication tool between
home and school.

Our end of the year field trip will take place on Monday, June 16, 2008. We will be traveling to Watertown to spend
the day at the Thompson Park Zoo. We will also take some time to allow the students to play on the playground
at the zoo. The permission slips for the field trip will be coming home soon.

Last week's answer:
If the water level is not high enough when the water freezes during the winter, the ice will be solid and trap the beavers
in their den. The beavers work on their dams in the fall to be certain water levels are high.

| Ms. Kelly keeps her promise! |
Ms. Kelly promised to allow the elementary students to tape her to the wall if they reached their goal for the week.
The students in kindergarten through six grade passed over 2,700 DEER Club tests during the week of March 3rd. This
far surpassed the goal of 500 tests. Thank you, Ms. Kelly, for being such a great sport!
